Church of Jesus Christ From God was founded by Bishop Alex Berry and Elect Lady Christine Berry and established in March 1967. Bishop Alex Berry with his wife by his side worked diligently to make Church of Jesus Christ From God a “Gospel driven” and strong foundation for the generations to come.
In the late 70s’ the Church of Jesus Christ From God began serving a center for community voting and town hall meetings.
In 1972, Bishop Alex Berry established the National Church Of Jesus Christ From God Incorporated. Under his leadership many churches of the United States were established.
In the 1980s’ the Church of Jesus Christ From God underwent its’ first expansion due to church growth. Over the years since the church has more than doubled in size and property.
In August 2002, Bishop Alex Berry transcended to rest with the Lord; and the mantle was passed to Bishop Manuel Berry, Sr. his son.
Since 2002, Bishop Manuel Berry, Sr. has resided as the Senior Pastor and birth out more ministers. The Church of Jesus Christ From God under the leadership of Bishop Manuel Berry, Sr. has continued the community center Bishop Alex Berry started and has increased the property and finances of the church.
